FAQ

01

My office is just off Portola, near Twin Peaks in San Francisco.

02

We begin with a short consultation call so we can talk a little before anything else. If it feels like the right match, I’ll send over some paperwork for you to fill out before our first session together.

03

It’s a brief call, usually 15 to 20 minutes, where I get to hear a little more about what’s bringing you in.

It gives us both a chance to sense whether I’m the right person to help you with what you’re carrying. No pressure at all, just an honest conversation to start.

04

Sessions run 45 to 50 minutes.

That’s usually enough time to settle in and get into what matters, without feeling rushed.

05

I work with adults, roughly ages 25 to 80, including couples.

Much of my work centers on grief and loss, and I also walk alongside people navigating dating and relationships.

06

More than any particular technique, my hope is that you feel seen, heard, and understood.

I don’t rush to move you through a set of steps. We take our time with your story, and the work grows from there.

07

I hold a Master’s degree from Alliant International University.

08

Yes. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

09

Absolutely. I want you to feel at ease the moment you settle in, so comfort was very much the point.

10

Not unless you want to. You’re welcome to sit however feels most comfortable for you.

11

Of course. You’re welcome to ask, and I’ll answer as best I can, always keeping our therapeutic relationship in mind.

12

I have two wonderful dogs, so dogs it is.

Let Yourself Be Understood

Things don’t have to keep feeling this way. There is hope, and there is help.

There’s a version of 3 a.m. where the missing sits quietly beside you instead of swallowing the night. That version starts with one honest conversation.
